Personal Protective equipment should be worn: wrist protectors, gloves, knee pads, helmets and elbow pads should be worn.
Maximum weight: 100kg.

Before and after each use:

  • Check the height of the steering system and make sure that the nuts are tightened and the handlebars and front wheel are perpendicular.
  • Check all of the connection elements: the brake, the release system of the steering column and the wheel axles must be correctly adjusted and must not be damaged
  • Also check the tire wear.

  • A brake is located at the rear, when necessary, press down on it to slow down. Press down gradually to prevent skidding or loss of stability. The metal or aluminium brake may heat up after multiple uses. Avoid touching it during and after use.
  • If model with the handlebar brake: a right brake handle to slow the back wheel. When using, keep riding the scooter with both hands.

Assembling the product

  • The folding and unfolding operations of the scooter are to be done by a single person.
  • During these operations, be careful you do not get your fingers stuck in the hinge and locking system.
  • Make sure that the locking devices are properly engaged.

Unfold the scooter

  1. Unpack the folded-up scooter from its box.
  2. Hold the scooter, one hand is holding the handle and the other hand pulls away the eyelet trigger until the lock clicks open. Unfold the handle and front wheel upwards until the automatic lock secures the T-bar handle in upright position. Do not insert your fingers into the shaded area indicated
  3. Open the clamp lever on the T-bar. Pull out both parts of the T-bar handle from the double clips. Press in the spring-loaded buttons and insert both into the tubes of the T-bar. Wiggle and turn a bit until their spring-loaded locking buttons align with the holes and fix the whole steering bar assembly in place. Close clamp lever.

Warning! Risk of injury by pinching!

Do not insert your fingers into the shaded area indicated

Adjust the handlebar

  1. Open the fixing lug. Then press down the spring-loaded locking button and pull the handlebar up or push it down with the other hand. Choose the suitable locking hole and make sure the spring-loaded locking pin snaps securely in place. The adjustable T-bar handle can be adapted in height to suit the rider.

Three different positions are available.

  • Low position: 98 cm
  • Middle position: 103 cm
  • High position: 108 cm

3 POSITIONS (NL 230-205 DUO)

  • Low position: 101.5 cm
  • Middle position: 106.5 cm
  • High position: 111.5 cm

Lock the fixing lug tight and securely when you have finished adjusting the height.

Self-standing mode

  1. Pull the eyelet trigger slightly up to release the lock and fold back the T-bar just a tad. Release the eyelet trigger when the deck touches the ground. The scooter is now in self-standing mode. You can now leave the scooter standing in that position. You can park your scooter upright on any flat surface.

Fold up the scooter

  1. Pull the eyelet trigger up to unlock the T-bar handle and pull back the T-bar handle a bit. Fold back the T-bar handle until it locks on the back brake plate. The locking mechanism and the eyelet trigger lock together with an audible click.
  2. You can grip the scooter by the T-bar handle and pull it behind you for easy transport. For purposes of storage, remove both parts of the T-bar handle from the T-bar. Press down the spring-loaded locking pins while pulling out the part sideways at the same time. Strings inside the tubes will hold the individual part together. Clip the two parts of the T-bar handle into the clips to both sides of the steering bar (refer to D3 in reverse order).

Fold up the scooter

  1. Push in the button while pulling on the metal part, which will cause the steering column to close. Release the button when the steering column begins to fold up. The button will position itself in its locking position when the steering column is completely folded.
  2. For purposes of storage, remove both parts of the T-bar handle from the T-bar. Open the clamp lever on the T-bar. Press down the spring-loaded locking pins while pulling out the part sideways at the same time. Strings inside the tubes Adjust the height.

General instructions

To use with suitable protective equipment, including a helmet, shoes, elbow, wrist and knee protectors. Teach the child how to use it safely and responsibly. Before and after each use: To prevent pinched fingers, don’t get your fingers stick underneath plastic head tube cover and front fork.

  • There are reflective stripes on the steering column to make the scooter visible at night by reflecting on coming light when parked or being ridden.
  • DELUXE & ULTIMATE models possess a bell located on the side of the T-bar handle opposite to the hand brake.
  • DELUXE & ULTIMATE models possess a hand brake located on the T-bar handle. Pull back the brake lever slowly using your hand in a measured manner towards you to slow down and/or stop.

Barrel adjustment for rear brake block:

Fine tune the brake blocks by turning the barrel screw on the handlebar brake. To do so, follow below instruction:

  • First undo the barrel-adjuster’s locknut by turning counter clockwise to untighten the locknut (see diagram A).
  • To move the brake blocks inward, unscrew the barrel by turning it counter clockwise in small increments to tighten the brake (see diagram B).
  • To move the brake blocks outward, screw the barrel inward by turning it clockwise in small increments to untighten the brake (see diagram C).
  • Regularly check the feeling of the brake to get the fine adjustment.
  • Tighten the barrel-adjuster’s locknut when done by turning it turn clockwise. (see diagram D)

Care / Maintenance: regular maintenance is a safety commitment:

Wheel bearings: avoid going through water, oil, or sand as this can damage wheel bearings. To look after the wheel bearings, systematically check that the wheels turn properly by turning the scooter upside-down and using your hand to spin the wheels. if the wheels do not spin, they must then be removed to check their condition.

First unscrew the wheel axle, remove the axle, and detach the wheel, then carefully push the two-wheel bearings out of their housing:

  • if they are chipped or dented, new ones should be bought
  • if there is no visible damage, they must then be oiled.

To do this, remove all traces of grease, mud or dust with a kitchen towel or cloth, and re-oil them with:

  • a grease spray or
  • by leaving them to soak overnight in oil [turn them several times in the oil first].

Then reassemble the wheel bearings and axles, followed by the wheel, onto the scooter. proceed in the same manner for the other wheel.

Wheels: the wheels wear down with time and can be pierced if overly used on rough surfaces. The back wheel on which the brake is applied is particularly affected after several hours of braking. In the interests of safety, they should be checked regularly and changed if necessary.

Modifications: the original product must by no means be modified except for the maintenance-related changes mentioned in these instructions.

Nuts, axles and other self-locking fixings: these should also be checked regularly. They can become loose after a while in which case they should be tightened. They can become worn and not tighten properly, in which case they should be replaced.
