Adult supervision is required to ensure that children under their care have the requisite ability and co-ordination to operate the Mini Buzzer and ride a scooter at the same time without compromising their personal safety or the safety as others.

The Mini Buzzer is NOT waterproof. Do not submerge and avoid getting wet.

INSTRUCTIONS (See PDF)

  • 1 rear fastening point, attach wing as shown.
  • 2 wing for fastening Mini Buzzer to handlebars.
  • 3 press to scroll through the 15 sounds.
  • 4 press to play the selected sound.
  • 5 press to scroll through light settings

FITTING AND REPLACING BATTERIES

The Mini Buzzer uses 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries. Unscrew the screws and lift the battery cover. Replace the old batteries with two new AAA batteries, ensure correct polarity. Replace the battery cover and tighten screws.

USING THE MINI BUZZER

Please read in FULL before use. The sound effects are designed for fun, not for safety. Although the lights improve visibility, there is no guarantee that other people (pedestrians, cyclists, motorists) will see the user, so a responsible adult should supervise use accordingly. Avoid using right next to a child’s ears, particularly those with sensitive hearing. Avoid using near animals, particularly horses which may react unpredictably. Ensure the product is mounted securely on the scooter.

IMPORTANT

Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Remove rechargeable batteries from product before recharging. Only charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision. Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Do not short circuit the supply terminals. Remove batteries if the product is not used for some time. Used batteries and broken electrical and electronic products must be disposed of at an approved collection point. Such products must not be thrown away with household refuse.

WARRANTY

All Hornit products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.The warranty applies only when the product is used as intended, under normal conditions and does not apply to damage caused by wear and tear, accidents, corrosive substances, water, misuse or neglect. In all cases the warranty is limited to the value of the product.This does not affect your statutory rights.
