Installation and use of seat for ride-on / walking bike
- GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS ECOLOGIC / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° comes with a connector tube which is used to fix the seat. For a comfortable ride, the child's feet should easily touch the footrest and the ground.
- Use the L-key in-pack to unscrew the handlebar. Insert the handlebar into the seat, and then tighten the screw to secure the handlebar.
- Attach the seat to the connector tube by sliding it on to the tube. Select your preferred height, then tighten the knob to make sure the seat is securely in place (see diagram 1-2).
- Insert the connector tube into the integrated tube hole at the front of the scooter deck between the two front wheels. Make sure to insert the connector tube in the correct direction following the arrow on the connector tube (see diagram 3) and ensure the spring ball on the side of the connector tube "clicks" into place, to securely hold the seat frame (see diagram 3).
- Place the footrest on the deck in the correct direction. Make sure the knob is tightened and securely fixed (see diagram 5-5a).
Pull up the seat from the deck without pressing the side push-button on the deck to check that the seat connector tube is safely locked in place before use.
Ride-on mode
- Insert the handlebar tube in the back hole of the seat support frame. Align the spring-loaded buttons with the notches at the rear of the seat and lock the handlebars (see diagram 4). Double check that the spring-loaded button is engaged and locked correctly.
- Adjust the height of the handle to the parent's preference (4 positions are available; see diagram A). Loosen the quick release clamp of the T-bar handle when adjusting. Tighten the quick release clamp to secure the T-bar handle after adjustment.
- The parent handlebar can be used to accompany children during use. Install the footrest (see diagram 5-5a). Place the child's feet on the footrest and the adult pushes using the parent handle (T-bar).
- Install the patented rear turning module under the deck of the scooter. Make sure you securely tighten the knob and engage the safety lock, in red, located on the knob (see diagram 6).
- The parent handlebar and the rear turning module can be used to guide children during use. Place the child's feet on the footrest and the adult pushes using the parent handle (T-bar).
An adult must always hold the parent handle when the child's feet are on the footrest and both hands are on the seat's handlebars to avoid the child falling.
Make sure to always remove the patented rear turning module when the product is not used in ride-on mode.
Walking bike mode
- Remove the handlebar tube in the back hole of the seat by pressing the 2 spring-loaded balls.
- To remove the footrest, unscrew the knob on the footrest, then remove the footrest. Once the footrest is removed, cover the hole in the deck with the button in-pack (see diagram 8-10).
GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° comes with an adjustable seat which can be adapted to the child's height (2 positions). Unscrew the knob and slide up/down to adjust the seat height. Align the seat through the screw holes in the connector tube and retighten the knob.
Make sure the child's feet can touch the ground freely in seated mode before riding.
Steering: The child pushes with his/her feet on the ground to advance, while the child's sitting on the seat. He/she must proceed with caution at first.
Notes
- Always check the connector tube is securely inserted into the deck by pushing downward until you hear a "click".
- Pull up the seat from the deck without pressing the side push-button on the deck to check that the seat connector tube is safely locked in place before use.
- Always check the seat knob is securely tightened.
- Remove the connector tube by pressing the side push-button on the deck.

Scooter assembly
- Insert the T-bar column into the integrated tube hole at the front of the scooter deck between the two front wheels.
- Make sure the two spring balls on either side of the bottom of the column "click" into place for scooter mode.
- To release the T-bar or fold/unfold the scooter, step on the deck with your foot, press the push button on the side of the deck and pull the T-bar column back at a 30-degree angle (see diagram 17-19).
Steering
GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS ECOLOGIC / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° steering responds intuitively to the movement of the body (see diagram B):
- When the child leans to the right, GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS ECOLOGIC / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° turns right.
- When the child leans to the left, GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS ECOLOGIC / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° turns left.
For younger children, on flat surfaces and in straight lines, GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS ECOLOGIC / GO•UP ACTIVE LIGHTS 360° has a steering lock system to only go forwards and backwards for better balance and to make learning easier.

- To release, press the red button under the front of the deck (see diagram D).
During use
- Standing on the scooter, one hand on each handle, push with one foot to move forward. Proceed with caution at the start.
- Braking: A brake is located at the rear; when necessary, press down on it to slow down. Press down gradually in order to prevent skidding or loss of stability.
- Shoes are mandatory, and we strongly advise the child to wear trousers and long sleeve shirts to avoid injury in the event of a fall.
- Explain to the child clearly how to use the scooter before any use.
Care and maintenance
Regular maintenance is a safety commitment:
- Wheel bearings: Avoid going through water, oil, or sand as this can damage wheel bearings.
- Wheels: The wheels wear down with time and can be damaged if overly used on rough surfaces. The back wheel on which the brake is applied is particularly affected after several hours of braking. In the interests of safety, wheels should be checked regularly and changed if necessary.
- Modifications: The original product must by no means be modified except for the maintenance-related changes mentioned in these instructions.
- Nuts and axles: These should also be checked regularly.
- They can become loose after a while, in which case they should be tightened.
- They can become worn and not tighten properly, in which case they should be replaced.
- Cleaning: Clean the scooter with a soft cloth and a little water.
